Imagine you come home to find that not only your lamb box has been delivered, but you’ve been stocked up with delicious essentials for the week & beyond.
This box includes tomato & basil soup for two (850ml), Abbruzzese style lamb ragu (500g) for you to toss through pasta. A selection of seasonal preserves, a few jars of jam, chutney or pickles and a freshly baked cake.
To account for the seasonal changes the descriptions are vague, but the focus on love & care isn’t. Some items will come frozen as this is the best way for me to cook when the ingredients are at their best. Most can be stored in the pantry for later on. This box makes a great gift as well.
*The ragu is a rich and powerful sauce made with mutton and cavolo nero. Tomatoes, garlic and onions form the base and the flavours of red wine and rosemary are strong. Pair this sauce with a tube or shell shaped pasta and a generous grating of grana or reggiano.
*Choose between our classic chocolate cake or a mandarin & poppyseed drizzle cake (both 20cm).
Chocolate cake ingredients: eggs, sugar, flour, dark cocoa powder, cinnamon, water, hand-made mayonnaise (eggs, olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, water), butter, cream of tartar, valrhona dark chocolate
Mandarin & poppyseed drizzle cake ingredients: eggs, sugar, gluten free flour, baking powder, milk, extra virgin olive oil, vanilla bean, mandarin zest & juice, poppyseeds, icing sugar, orange blossom water, salt
DELIVERY ~ If your postcode is listed below, you're eligible for delivery of a lamb box. If your postcode is not on the list but is very close to one on the list, RING ME! I will work it out with you & put it on the list. Deliveries to Melbourne, inner north, inner south & south east will be Saturday 2nd May. If you’re not going to be home please leave an esky or chilly bin outside the door for me to pop your box into.
Deliveries to the central highlands, where all the beautiful people live, will be Friday 1st May. Again, If you’re not going to be home please leave an esky or chilly bin outside the door for me to pop your box into.
PICK UP FROM THE FARM ~ If you live outside the delivery routes then we will have pick up available from the farm will be Tuesday 5th May.
